OUR COMMUNITY

We know that our community is more than just where our business is located, it's where we, and our customers live.

We believe in giving back and supporting our community. We have a program to teach children about hydroponics and healthy eating. We also donate out chickpeas and time to local soup kitchens and shelters. 

Hummustainable was founded in 2014 by four college students on a mission: grow chickpeas in the most sustainable way possible.

Enter Hydroponics. 

We discovered that hydropoics would allow us to use less water and grow more than traditional farming. We are planning to add solar anf wind power to our facilities to become truly sustainable. 

We want to more than live on the earth, we want to make sure that out children's children have an earth that is better than the one we live in, free of pollution, pesticides, hunger, and unfair labor practices.
